Their team values professionalism, compassion, and excellence in patient care. The practice does not treat any specialty in house - just top of the line bread and butter dentistry.
Position Summary:They are seeking an experienced Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join their team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a wide range of dental procedures and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Must have prior experience with placing fillings, creating temps and packing cord. The EDDA will play a crucial role in assisting our dentist with various clinical tasks, ensuring patients receive top-tier care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform sealants, fillings, temp fabrication and cord packing under supervision of the treating dentist
  • Assist the dentist in all general dentistry procedures, including restorative, surgical, and preventive care.
  • Perform expanded duties as allowed by the Colorado State Dental Board, such as placing fillings, taking impressions, and making temporary crowns.
  • Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensure the patient is comfortable and informed throughout the dental procedure.
  • Take and process X-rays as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized operatory, following infection control protocols.
  • Provide post-operative instructions and patient education on oral health.
  • Manage patient records accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Assist in administrative tasks, such as scheduling and patient follow-ups when necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Certified Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) in the state of Colorado.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental assistant role.
  • Proficient in taking digital X-rays, making impressions, and fabricating temporary restorations.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • CPR certification required.
