Sales Design Consultant
We are a vibrant, successful and privately-owned flooring business located in beautiful Daphne, AL. For more than 70 years, we've offered the most up to date flooring products the industry has to offer featuring; tile, hardwood, LVT, mosaics and outdoor materials. We are a passionate and humble working team that offes friendly customer service from knowledgeable professionals who provide a unique costumer experience that keeps customers returning.

With an increase in demand for our services we are looking for a new Sales Design Consultant to join our growing team working 70% in the showroom and 30% going into the field to meet builders, designers, property managers, etc
This individual is responsible for meeting with customers providing knowledge of the products as well as assisting customers that might walk in the showroom to find the right style and design that fits their appeal as well as going into the field to network and build relationships. The Sales Design Consultant provides customers with quotes generated in our RFMS order entry system. The Residential Builder Sales Consultant is responsible for ensuring customer’s experiences go smoothly from the first hello, to when their installation is complete.

Expectations of Sales Consultant:
• Network in the community with Builders, Property Managers, Designers, Remodels, Insurance and/or Real Estate agents, etc.
• Work with customers giving product knowledge & design advice
• Work with estimators to determine proper products & installation
• Create sales orders in RFMS
• Schedule estimates with customers
• Communicate with customers to ensure sale to install goes smoothly
• Use the showroom as a conference center and hub when not in the field
• Stay up to date on new products and design trends

• Excellent oral & written communication skills
• Organization & time management skills
• Self-motivated and ambitious

• Floor covering experience is a plus
• RFMS software experience is a plus

• Relationship builder, positive attitude and enthusiasm for the products

Hours:
Monday - Thursday 8-5:00, Friday, 8:00-3:00 and Saturday by appointment and Closed on Sundays
