Project Manager – Hospitality Lighting
Decorative Lighting Manufacturer looking for experienced Project Managers to join our growing team. If you have experience in hospitality and/or residential furniture and lighting market and are interested in joining a dynamic, fast paced environment and working on some of the most notable architectural projects in the U.S. and abroad, we want you to join our team
Candidate should be a highly motivated team player with a great work ethic and a can-do spirit. The right person will be a good communicator with excellent organizational skills. The project manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, architects, and contractors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to exceed the client's standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define customer requirements and ensure on time/on budget completion of projects.
- Cross department coordination of essential deadlines, project commitments and quality requirements from receipt of order through design, manufacturing, quality control, shipping, and installation.
- Interact effectively and efficiently with project stakeholders to ensure a well-managed project.
- Engage in positive interaction with clients throughout the projects, handle and resolve customer requests to establish a relationship leading to future projects.
- Maintain updated project management tools, project monitoring and tracking.
- Source and research materials, finishes and construction techniques.
Key Qualifications include:
- Exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilizes a variety of approaches and communication techniques tailored to each situation, facilitates consensus in groups, comfortable in conversing with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and at all organizational levels.
- Team player with a dedicated work ethic, energetic, takes initiative, persistent in pursuing and completing tasks, and strives to exceed expectations.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement. Able to plan and have an overview of every project.
- Easily adapts to changing priorities. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in current software for Microsoft Suite. AutoCAD experience is a huge plus.
- Occasional travel, evenings, or weekends may be required.
Experience:
Preferred 3-5 Years’ Experience in interior design or architecture, and product design.
Previous experience in the Hospitality, Residential, Resort and Casino Industries is a plus.
PMP Certification or bachelor's degree in engineering, design, product development or a related field is preferred.
