Job Duties

  • Produce new revenue by researching and analyzing potential prospects and sales options.

  • Enhances sales staff accomplishments and competence by planning the delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.

  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

  • Meet sales revenue targets.

  • Lead and coordinate contract negotiations for a successful close.

  • Submits contracts following company pricing policies and procedures.

  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, etc.

  • Recommends changes in products, services, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain sales activities and plans.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with current clients and their management teams by providing information and support.

  • Prepare reports by analyzing and summarizing information.
