Food Explorers Club is a project-based, hands-on food education. Do you have experience teaching kids and a passion for cooking? Become a Food Explorers Club Culinary Instructor
Our program offers children ages five and above fun, educational, hands-on scratch cooking and baking with real food and natural ingredients. If you are interested in honing your classroom leadership and management skills while gaining teaching experience and having an absolute blast cooking delicious seasonal real food. In that case, we are the place for you

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate a 1-hour and 15-minute after-school science enrichment program using a pre-set curriculum.
  • Each session is a high-energy, part entertainment, part education, hands-on class that meets for one hour each week for 8-10 weeks.
  • Teach young children the art of science in an engaging and interactive way.
  • We provide training on the curriculum and all necessary materials. Food Explorers Club classes follow the school calendar and are offered year-round. This is part-time, rewarding work that can fit well with your schedule and lifestyle.

Compensation:
$80.00 - $90.00 per class
Gas mileage coverage back and forth to the school
Paid Weekly Grocery shopping time -$25-$30 weekly

Qualifications:

  • Some experience working with groups of elementary-age (4-12) children (preferred).
  • Must be available at least three weekdays after 2:30 p.m.
  • Must have a reliable car
  • All employees will be fingerprinted for criminal background checks(required)
  • Some college
  • Have a fun & outgoing personality

We train you in the curriculum and provide all materials. Food Explorers Club classes follow the school calendar and are presented year-round. This is part-time and rewarding work if it fits with your schedule and lifestyle.
