Sales Manager

Are you a results-oriented Sales Manager with a knack for driving sales of technical products in both domestic and global markets? We're on the lookout for a dynamic individual experienced in technical sales. Join this exciting team in the Syracuse, NY area if you possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in navigating complex international markets. This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute strategic plans to meet sales targets and expand the market share of technical products on a global scale
- Mentor and lead sales personnel to ensure cohesive collaboration and goal achievement
- Identify and establish novel distribution channels, cultivate robust sales pipelines, and propel revenue growth
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with pivotal clients, partners, and distributors across the globe
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to continually enhance sales strategies and product positioning
- Collaborate across departments such as marketing, product development, and operations to enrich our product offerings and cater to customer requirements
- Present regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to the President
- 8+ years of B2B technical sales experience, encompassing distributor management
- Experience with HVAC, industrial products (fork trucks, motors), or mechanical components is required
- Proficiency in collaborating cross-functionally across departments
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or engineering
- Experience in international sales with a grasp of diverse cultures, market dynamics, and regulatory environments. Fluency in multiple languages is advantageous
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills vital for fostering and sustaining client relationships
- Demonstrated prowess in devising and implementing strategic sales plans within a competitive global market
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed, including attendance at trade shows and client meetings
- Competitive salary range of $90,000 to $130,000, plus bonuses and sales incentives
