Job DescriptionJob Description

Duties:
• Assist AR/AP with the day-to-day, monthly and year-end operations of the Accounting Team.
• Perform repetitive data entry tasks, calculate, prepare and enter various month end journal entries into the General Ledger.
• Manage the processing of cash receipts, recording of revenue and receivable and work closely with the team to ensure that revenues and receivables are recorded and reconciled.
• Review and process expense reports and receipts submitted on monthly basis.
• Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
• Establish, modify, document and coordinate implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
• Work on special projects and prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as needed.
• Filing and auditing of company documents for Accounting and HR departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications Requirements:
•A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or any business major (Or Associated degree with strong qualification) 
• Strong understanding of accounting theory
• No work experience is required
• Operation experience at securities broker dealer is plus
• Must be highly detail oriented and organized in your work
• Ability to meet assigned deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to act and operate independently to accomplish objectives
• Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications. Advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables)
• Knowledge of QuickBooks a plus
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and external agencies to maximize performance, efficiency, problem solving and results
• Excellent recording keeping skills.
