Location: Honolulu, Hawaii
We have an immediate opening for a Construction Foreman to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. This opportunity is perfect for an experienced industry professional looking to independently manage construction projects of various sizes, including government projects ranging from $50,000 to $3,000,000.

As a Construction Foreman, you will lead and manage the on-site construction team, oversee all work on-site, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing construction processes, including scheduling, performance, and supervising all employees and resources assigned to the projects. Additionally, you will track production schedules and ensure every project is completed on time and within budget.

Primary Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and supervise field labor and subordinates, including making work assignments and handling hiring and firing decisions.
  • Assist Construction Managers and Project Administrators in scheduling work, checking work for compliance with contract specifications, and providing daily review and consultation on work methods and progress in the field.
  • Schedule subcontractor work to coincide with the general contractor, ensuring optimal labor utilization.
  • Determine requirements for supplies, materials, and equipment; schedule delivery, distribution, and utilization.
  • Maintain communications with the contracting agency (or owner, architect, or engineer) regarding the performance of work.
  • Manage job sites, quality control, safety, communication, record-keeping, daily reports, BMP reports and schedules for laborers and subcontractors.
  • Maintain a safe and neat working environment.
  • Assist with project documentation and preparation of final closeout reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of at least 5 years as a construction foreman on projects similar in size and complexity.
  • Capable of interpreting critical path schedules and construction drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
  • Skilled in reading blueprints and job specifications.
  • Experience in civil work and concrete work minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in site layout.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Commitment to company values and capacity to handle pressure and time constraints.
  • Experience in using transit and shooting grade is a plus.
