Position Summary:
We are seeking an individual who loves to organize, solve problems, and work on highly detail-oriented projects as our full-time Operations Specialist in our Book team. This position works to procure, fulfill, and support orders for academic, public and government libraries all over the world with foreign-language books, movies, atlases, etc.

Duties:
  • Procure books, atlases and other materials from various publishers and vendors
  • Develop and maintain partnerships/business relations with suppliers all over the world
  • Identify potential suppliers and negotiate supply conditions to secure the best value
  • Ensure accurate order fulfillment
  • Prepare catalog lists using customer-specific parameters
  • Invoice customer orders
  • Provide professional customer service and problem resolution
Requirements:
  • Fluency in English, foreign language skills is a plus
  • Thorough attention to details (bonus points if you love this kind of work)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Task-oriented with experience completing projects with tight deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Bachelor's degree or work equivalent
  • Curious, collaborative, and adaptable
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3 years’ experience in an office or similar environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
Workplace Detail
  • This is an onsite position located in Minnetonka MN near Hopkins Crossroads/Hwy 394
  • Some remote work days are possible but this position cannot be fully remote as we handle physical products
