Job Description

Administrative candidate will perform the following:

  • Utilize MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other packages to perform work assignments.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports.
  • Perform accounting tasks - such as billings and accounts payables.
  • Process weekly timesheets/payroll
  • Prepare/Update charts, spreadsheets, and presentations for internal and external use.
  • Perform administrative support
  • Assist with HR functions
  • Perform back-up Receptionist/Switchboard Operator duties.
  • Support administrative/clerical needs of management team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in a warehouse/casual environment.

Requirements

The Administrative Assistant position requires exceptional computer and administrative skills, along with the following:

  • Exceptional Administrative skills (demonstrated by work history/experience).
  • College degree is not required but is preferred; must be able to demonstrate exceptional learning aptitude.
  • Some basic accounting experience and/or accounting education/training is preferred.
  • Proven MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word skills - intermediate level or above in all three.
  • Ability/willingness to work at a desk/computer much of the time but also to leave the desk/computer to gather/share data in work areas.
  • Must have very good interpersonal skills and professional communication skills.
  • Must be able to consistently perform high volumes of work while ensuring accuracy.
  • Must have good basic math skills and the ability to understand somewhat complex work instructions.
