WINDOWS ADMIN JOB DESCRIPION:

Gridiron IT is seeking a Sr. Windows Administrator, with an active Secret Clearance, to support a federal program on-site in Kingstowne, VA.

 

The Sr. Windows Administrator will work as a member of the Cloud Infrastructure team providing O&M support for Windows servers within an AWS cloud environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Server provisioning, configuration, backup and recovery, patching, STIG application, troubleshooting, user account maintenance, scripting, and technical documentation. 
  • Windows Server 2019, 2022; AWS Cloud; WSUS; Active Directory; Remote Desktop Gateway; Domain Controllers; PowerShell skills. 
  • Working with the client, application teams and end users.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to mentor junior resources is necessary.

 

Requirements:

  • Secret Clearance
  • BA/BS Degree (or equivalent experience)
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification
  • Additional relevant certification (AWS, Microsoft, or equivalent).
  • Required to be in the office 5 days a week, at Kingstowne, in Alexandria, VA.

 

Desired:

  • Knowledge of SAP and experience supporting an enterprise system is a plus.
