Hourly Pay Rate: $20/hr to $25/hr

We're currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator for a leading equipment/machinery manufacturer for the food industry in Lake Forest, IL. You'll play a vital role in packaging orders, receiving incoming shipment, maintain parts inventory, including stocking shelves, organizing bins, and binning new parts.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of related work experience.
    • Related job titles (Not limited to): Shipping and Receiving, Parts Room Clerk, Parts Room Coordinator, Parts Room Specialist, Inventory Control Clerk, Inventory Control Specialist, Inventory Control Coordinator.
    • Also, related roles where you need to do inventory cycle counts within a manufacturing environment works.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food.
  • Able to Maintain a clean & safe environment
  • Proficient in reading a measuring tape
  • basic understanding of ERP/MRP software
  • Must know how to measure, using tape measure and caliper.
    • Forklift driving is a plus
  • Familiar w/ PC's.
  • Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain parts inventory, including stocking shelves, organizing bins, binning new parts, and recording the location, conducting perpetual bin audits, and maintain special order bins.
  • Package orders to ship
  • Receive incoming shipments.
  • Pull parts from stock and place on carts
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Read, interpret and follow basic drawings, diagrams, Engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately organize equipment and products
