Position Overview:

Multiax Technologies is seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our technical support team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our machinery for clients. As a Service Technician at Multiax Technologies, you will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to the success of our clients in various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Installation and Maintenance:

· Install, set up, and configure multi-axis machining systems at client locations.

· Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability.

2) Troubleshooting:

· Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues.

· Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve complex technical problems.

3) Client Support:

· Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or on-site visits.

· Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication.

4) Training:

· Conduct training sessions for clients on the proper use and maintenance of Multiax Technologies's machinery.

· Create training materials and documentation as needed.

5) Documentation:

· Maintain accurate service records, including details of repairs and maintenance activities.

· Provide detailed reports to clients and internal teams on service activities.

6) Continuous Improvement:

· Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to product enhancement discussions.

· Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

· Associate degree or equivalent technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

· Proven experience as a service technician, preferably in the manufacturing or machining industry.

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift and move heavy machinery components.

· Comfortable working in various environments, including manufacturing facilities and client sites.

Company DescriptionMultiax America started building and servicing CNC machine centers to serve the U.S. and Canadian markets in January of 2001. Since that time, we have carried out installations, warehoused spare parts, and serviced and repaired the Multiax, Pade, and Fulltech product lines as well as other brands of CNC routers.

The Multiax facility includes 7,400 square feet of warehouse/showroom space where CNC machines are set up for performing customer sales discussions, training, and demos. We have a large spare parts area for organizing and shipping spare parts as needed by our customers.
