Job Description:
Position Summary: The Director of Operations will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of Thumzup’s daily operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, this leader will oversee the end-to-end processes of user acquisition and satisfaction, as well as advertiser onboarding and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in operations management, particularly within the tech or social media industry.
Key Responsibilities:
User Acquisition and Satisfaction:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive user growth and engagement.
- Monitor user feedback and analytics to continuously improve the user experience.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize user acquisition campaigns.
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of user issues and inquiries.
Advertiser Onboarding and Satisfaction:
- Oversee the onboarding process for new advertisers, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Manage relationships with existing advertisers to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand advertiser needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Analyze advertiser feedback and campaign performance to drive improvements.
Operational Excellence:
- Streamline operational processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize operations.
- Lead and mentor a team of operations professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the tech or social media industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing user and advertiser satisfaction processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience managing and developing teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
