We are seeking a Field Maintenance Specialist

Summary:

The Field Maintenance Specialist is a road warrior who will perform preventative maintenance on the company’s equipment at customer sites while providing support and recommendations to programmers and operators.

Hours: Monday – Friday

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00/HR DOE

Position: Direct Hire

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and series of equipment for customer at customer site
  • Support the sales staff in servicing company equipment
  • Provide support to programmers on best recommendations and approaches to programming parts
  • Provide support and training for operators and maintenance personnel when needed and onsite
  • Recommend improved practices, methods, and procedures, to increase efficiency and quality while reducing equipment downtime
  • Support maintenance performance monitoring; root cause analysis; condition-based monitoring; and reliability-centered maintenance approach aimed towards achieving a reliable operation
  • Carefully and accurately documents all service performed on the equipment as well as what service needs are to be accomplished on the equipment in the future
  • Prepares service reports/work order forms on time and accurately
  • Track expenses and complete expense reports on time
  • Maintain a safe work environment and operate within OSHA/MIOSHA guidelines
  • Must be available to work overtime as required by customer need

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in machine tool operations, maintenance, and repair
  • Minimum 2 years of CAD/CAM software experience
  • Minimum 5 years in a technical position
  • Travel as required, 90 – 100%. Travel will be regional or international
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to effectively use electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics on the job
  • Ability to program parts for CNC machines
  • Ability to utilize electric/electronic testing and measurement equipment
  • Proven customer service skills with a primary focus on customer relationships
  • Must possess a valid passport or be capable of obtaining a valid passport
  • Basic hand tools, Fluke Multimeter, and other miscellaneous machine calibration tools
  • Ability to understand CAD drawings
