Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Customs Broker Entry Writer with deep knowledge of tariff codes across all commodities and comprehensive understanding of FDA regulations. The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience in handling FDA procedures, along with excellent customer service abilities, and the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Accurately prepare and process customs entries, ensuring full compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations.

• Effectively manage tariff classifications, calculate duty rates, and ensure all required documentation is accurate and complete.

• Handle all aspects of FDA-related entries, ensuring adherence to all applicable requirements and maintaining strict compliance.

• Prepare and submit all necessary documentation for U.S. Customs, including delivery orders and any other shipment-related paperwork.

• Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues that arise.

• Coordinate with carriers, customs officials, and other relevant parties to facilitate smooth and timely clearance of shipments.

• Stay current with changes in customs regulations, tariffs, and FDA requirements to ensure continued compliance.

• Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team, consistently meeting deadlines and client expectations.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Extensive experience as a Customs Broker Entry Writer with a strong understanding of tariff codes and U.S. Customs regulations.

• Proven experience with FDA-related customs entries.

• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in customs software and other relevant technologies.
