Job Summary:
Business creation/client account development manager (“Hunter”) with a proven track record selling IT solutions and services. Tekscape utilizes information technology to address clients’ business challenges and improve operational results. S/He will work with clients and prospects to gain a clear understanding of their business needs and develop a comprehensive solution in the areas of Managed IT, cloud services, security, IT strategy and consulting, and cybersecurity services.
The role/ responsibilities:
- Develop a strong sales pipeline of business leads and cultivate clients’ trust through relentless planning, outreach, and networking
- Possess a strong working knowledge of the sales process and programs utilized by suppliers
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes on time and within budget
- Demonstrate your knowledge to build and maintain credibility with clients, identify gaps and recommend solutions and deliver on revenue-generating and adoption/usage goals
- Build relationships with manufacturing and distribution partners
- Complete training and certifications to continuously build technical knowledge
- Acquire knowledge of customer technology, workflows, and internal structure
- Provide ongoing reports to management on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for additional service opportunities
- Strong presentation, communication, organization, and time management skills; Comfortable presenting in front of senior level executives.
Skills/Qualifications/Personality profile:
- Minimum 5+ years of direct sales experience in Project Services, Managed Services, Virtual Office Systems, and Digitalization; experience with sales to small and mid-sized businesses preferred
- Bachelor's degree - in relevant disciplines preferred
- Demonstrated experience in IT Managed Services solutions
- Successful track record of collaborating with key stakeholders, including C-level decision makers, resulting in high internal and external customer satisfaction
- Ability to travel as needed based on client requirements
