SVT is looking for an E-Commerce Specialist to support our growing online business. Ideal candidates must be a go-getter with customer service focus and must be willing to take ownership of the job. The candidate must be a self-starter with great communication and presentation skills. This is an entry level position with growth potential.  We will train the right individual.   

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Communicate with online customers as inquiries come up to identify needs and areas of opportunity
  • Support E-Commerce Supervisor to manage inventory, listings, pricing etc. 
  • Manage multiple listings across multiple E-Commerce platforms
  • Ensure all inventory is posted and on E-Commerce platforms for sale.  Identify best pricing to maximize return and sale of inventory
  • Management of inventory of products include: market pricing, Stockouts or low inventory, detailed descriptions
  • Identify items to bundle to provide more opportunity to sell
  • Follow up with customer orders to ensure timely processing.
  • Work with Marketing and other Sales departments on promotions and other needs.
  • Support Warehouse Team in receiving when needed and identify items for E-Commerce sales
  • Develop sales strategies to promote brand awareness

Qualifications:

  • Online Sales experience a major plus but not necessary
  • Technically savvy.  
  • Ability to sell, promote products and services while providing professional and courteous customer service.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office products and Ecommerce platforms
  • Ability to follow up on customer orders and follow up with logistics departments on a timely basis.
  • BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or similar degree a plus.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work and possibly other work sites.
