Responsibilities:

  • File legal documents and correspondence in e-filing system
  • Review incoming and outgoing email correspondence
  • Complete reports and review deadlines
  • Process billing, time entry, and expense reimbursements
  • Manage and run general ledger reports
  • Compose emails to clients with outstanding invoices
  • Complete phone payments from clients
  • Assist clients with questions regarding invoices
  • Compose, draft, and type documents and correspondence
  • Proofread, redlined, and edited documents
  • Review to ensure accuracy, comprehension, and grammar/punctuation
  • Prepare Trademark applications, track deadlines, and ensure timely submittals
  • Maintain a timeline of all deadlines
  • Work with litigation specialists
  • File documents with the US Patent & Trademark Office, as well as state/federal courts

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Law experience
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, TABS, Adobe, FlexTrac (or similar IP Docketing software)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, accurate grammar, and spelling required
  • Intellectual Property support experience is a plus
  • Eager to learn, friendly, team player, very positive attitude and effort

Work Model:

  • On-Site
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Monday to Friday
