Job DescriptionJob Description

The Kleingers Group is looking for a Proposal Coordinator to join our Business Development and Marketing team. This position is responsible for the production of proposal materials. It supports the development, growth, execution, and representation of the Kleingers and Sportworks brands. This role is specialized for individuals with great attention to detail, exceptional writing and editing abilities, outstanding time management skills, and knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.

We focus on providing site civil engineering, athletic field design, transportation engineering, land surveying, landscape architecture and community planning services. With offices located in Cincinnati, Columbus, Louisville, Akron, Indianapolis and Tampa, we are able provide our clients with the personal attention and service that has become our trademark.

Responsibilities

  • Provides initial draft of proposals and incorporates any needed edits or updates to the responses.
  • Applies internal workflow and review of all proposal inputs and ensures successful final master proposal.
  • Works collaboratively with multiple Kleingers teams to ensure proposals are on time and proper approvals are received.
  • Applies proposal process, methodology, and best practices.
  • Maintains compliance with requirements, internal controls, and external regulations (e.g., procurement process)
  • Facilitates updates for current resume profiles by working proactively with individuals.
  • Assists in creating proposal materials.
  • Supports brand initiatives and aids in updating marketing materials found in Kleingers library.

Requirements

  • InDesign/Adobe Creative Suite experience is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year in a proposal management role with a degree or equivalent experience is preferred, but not required. Current students are welcome apply.
  • A team player with a ‘can do’ attitude who is enthusiastic and motivated.
  • Thorough and detail-oriented, organized, with excellent time management skills.
  • Strong proposal design skills to communicate information with impact.
  • Ability to manage and juggle simultaneous tasks at various stages and with various complexities from multiple Kleingers team members.
  • Must be highly responsive and flexible to meet tight deadlines.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
