Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Summary:
The restaurant catering sales/lead Manager will help with all needs and tasks for daily
catering operations and sales building. This will include working with the general
managers to ensure all prep and catering supplies are available and set up for next day
catering orders. Assist in writing prep sheets for each catering order. Organize catering
operations to ensure all orders are being executed accurately, guests request, and
notes are being accommodated. Must have a clean and valid drivers license and
reliable vehicle as needed for catering deliveries. The ideal person will be very
professional, reliable, dependable, driven to success and have some previous
experience in Catering sales and set up.
Essential Duties and Catering Responsibilities:
 Coordinate execution and assist with food preparation to ensure quality, recipe
adherence, accuracy, and timeliness of all orders for the day.
 Assemble each catering order ensuring all orders are correct and complete.
 Appropriately setting up, communicating prep needs, and planning for efficient
assembly of catering orders for the following day.
 Determine and coordinate delivery schedule, balancing in-house drivers, only
using 3 rd party if necessary.
 Assist in delivery of catering orders. Providing genuine hospitality, ensuring
orders are on time and set up properly for the client.
 Conduct various sales building activities and with General Managers, including
scheduling and conducting food tasting, communicating with potential clients,
researching potential new leads, and finding new sales opportunities in the area.
Utilize the sales building responsibilities and document on catering sales tracking
sheet.
 Develop positive working relationships with customers to increase repeat
business.
