A local steel company is looking to bring overhead crane operators to their team

3rd shift available

Pay: $20.75 - $21.50 per hour

 

Duties:
- Operate cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment according to project specifications
- Perform pre-operational checks on the crane to ensure its safety and functionality
- Rig loads properly to ensure stability and secure attachment to the crane
- Safely maneuver loads using hand signals or radio communication with ground personnel
- Inspect and maintain the crane, including conducting routine maintenance checks and reporting any malfunctions or defects
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents or injuries during crane operations

Skills:

- Strong materials handling skills to safely move equipment and materials using cranes
- Familiarity with operating different types of cranes
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving processes
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness for precise load positioning
