What will you be doing?

Assisting the International Business Development Team to achieve sales goals by responding timely and efficiently to customer needs.

Some of your day-to-day tasks?

  • Demonstrate and explain the operation and use of ATI products.
  • Assist International Territory Directors in project management of all won bids and help secure all key players involved are performing according to agreed terms.
  • Become proficient in quoting potential projects. This requires a thorough understanding of each Action Target product and being able to work with the estimation tools to compile an accurate cost basis.
  • Complete expense reports, sales reports, and misc. paperwork.
  • Study information about new products so that appropriate recommendations about company products and services are presented to potential buyers.
  • Effectively work with the company’s different functional teams including drafting, engineering, procurement, and project management to provide customers with seamless experiences with the company.
  • Represent the company at industry trade events and by traveling to site-visits and customer meetings as needed.
  • Advise customers regarding layouts, legal and insurance regulations, cost analysis, contract negotiations and collection methods for outdoor range sales.
  • Prepare bids and commit orders for customers.
  • Communicate with accounts payable to establish invoicing protocols for unique projects.
  • Assist the shipping department to properly prepare international shipping documents.
  • Coordinate with shipping department to validate shipping costs for each estimation.
  • Ensure contracts with International distribution are up to date.
  • Communicate important customer feedback to proper internal stakeholders.
  • Take and place phone calls to/from customers at the direction of the Team Managers—sometimes after hours or on the weekends to accommodate global time zones and business hours.
  • Hand off warranty and service contacts to After Market Services department.
  • Dealing with and responding to high volumes of emails.
  • Assist with establishing travel itineraries for self and International Team Managers.

What do you need to be able to do?

  • Education: bachelor’s degree (four-year college or university) preferred
  • Experience: Two to four years related experience especially in the areas of sales and project management.
  • Computer skills: Well trained on spreadsheets and word processing. Microsoft 365 suite. Familiar with ERP systems. Experience with Panda Doc a plus.
  • Self-Starter
  • High organizational skills and ability to manage several projects at the same time.
  • Ability to prioritize own workload.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Background in Law Enforcement, Military or construction management a plus
  • International business experience a plus
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be able to work alone without supervision and still be effective and get prospecting and job tasks done expeditiously.
  • Willingness to work outside of typical US business hours when needed.
