We are in search of an amazing Compensation Professional to join our TEAM

Role Description

 

A Compensation Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing an organization's compensation programs. This role involves analyzing salary structures, conducting market research, and ensuring that the company's compensation practices align with its strategic goals while remaining competitive within the industry. 

Key responsibilities include:

1. Salary Analysis: Conducting market surveys to benchmark salaries and benefits against industry standards.
2. Program Development: Designing and updating compensation policies and structures to attract and retain talent.
3. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation and compensation reporting.
4. Collaboration: Working closely with HR and management to develop compensation strategies that align with overall business objectives.
5. Reporting: Preparing reports and presentations to communicate compensation strategies and results to stakeholders.
6. Employee Consultation: Addressing employee inquiries regarding compensation and resolving any related issues.

The ideal candidate typically possesses a background in human resources, finance, or a related field, along with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Familiarity with compensation software and tools is also beneficial.

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

- A Master’s degree or CCP - Certified Compensation Professional) advantageous.

Experience:

- 5-7 years of direct experience in compensation analysis and structural design (theories associated with compensation management)

- Direct experience in developing and managing compensation programs start to completion

- Working experience with compensation software and tools.

 

Skills:

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations.

- Excellent understanding of compensation structures, market trends, and regulatory compliance.

- Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools; experience with HRIS systems is required

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in reporting and analysis.

- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.


Type of Opportunity: Consultant (1099- responsible for own taxes)
Engagement Duration: 3-6 month (possibility of full time employment based on performance)
Hourly Rate: $45 per hour (non-negotiable)
Start Date: Immediately
