Job Summary:

Mill Creek Residential Trust is seeking a highly skilled Leasing Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our leasing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales expertise to prospective and current residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide warm and personalized service to prospective residents, guiding them in choosing the perfect home.
  • Present the community and apartments in a professional and engaging manner, highlighting features and benefits.
  • Complete lease applications, assist with application verification, and notify prospective residents of results in a timely manner.
  • Manage and convert prospect leads into leases, achieving leasing goals and following up with leads that did not lease.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor pricing, and events, and use this knowledge to provide valuable insights to residents.
  • Answer phone calls, return voicemails, and respond to resident inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Enter accurate and timely data into information systems, prepare leasing reports, and manage Entrata tasks and leads daily.
  • Ensure the office, clubroom, apartment models, and market-ready units are in impeccable condition.
  • Assist in social media advertising, move-ins, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with residents and colleagues.
  • Multi-family or related property management experience, retail sales, or hospitality experience.
  • Ability to take ownership of resident issues and concerns, and come to a resolution.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Entrata, Yardi, and Revenue Management Software.
