The main responsibilities include supporting the Superintendent in overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards. You will assist in coordinating subcontractors, conducting site inspections, enforcing safety protocols, and addressing any issues that arise during the construction process. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Superintendent with the daily management of construction activities, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Monitor the quality of work performed by subcontractors, ensuring adherence to company and industry standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Help enforce safety protocols on the job site to maintain a safe working environment.
- Address minor issues and escalate more significant concerns to the Superintendent as needed.
- Assist with maintaining clear communication between the project team, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Some experience in residential construction or a related field, preferably in a supervisory or assistant role.
- Basic understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility.
