Plumber

KDC Construction is seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in commercial and industrial settings.

• Read and understand construction documents and schedules.
• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing fixtures, pipes, and fittings.
• Construct various types of pipe joints for high or low-pressure systems.
• Properly install all commercial plumbing fixtures.
• Cut, fit, fabricate, and assemble a wide variety of materials and devices.
• Manage portions of projects and assist the Foreman.
• Forecast tasks and materials needed to complete the project.
• Prepare equipment and tool lists.
• Take initiative and be self-sufficient.
• Leadership and mentorship skills.
• Able to identify and solve problems in the field.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Foreman, Superintendents, Supervisors, and others.

• 5 years of commercial/industrial plumbing experience or a combination of field experience and education in the trade.
• Must be knowledgeable of relevant codes, regulations, and ADA requirements.
• Certification in the operation of equipment and other pertinent areas is a plus.
• Experience with copper, cast iron, and ABS/PVC.
• Strong math skills.

• Candidates must have a valid California Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• All final candidates will be subject to a Fitness for Duty Test, Drug Screen, Motor Vehicle Report, and Criminal Background Check before hiring.
