Safety Inspector

KDC Construction is seeking a highly skilled Safety Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our safety department, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with established state and company occupational safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular walk-through inspections of construction areas to identify and document hazardous conditions.
- Assist with investigating near miss incidents and work-related injuries to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Compile data, photographs, and prepare reports associated with accidents and incidents.
- Monitor tools, equipment, and safety protocols to ensure compliance with OSHA and company regulations.
- Develop and implement safety training programs for employees and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to ensure safety protocols are integrated into project plans.
- 5+ years' experience as a safety professional in a construction environment.
- Current OSHA Construction 30-Hour certification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply safety regulations and company policies.
- Proficient with computers and familiar with Microsoft Software Suite.
- Competitive salary/hourly range of $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year.
