Job DescriptionJob Description

Title: Field Service Technician 

Location: NC, SC, GA

Pay: $30/hr - $40/hr

Type: Direct hire, non-exempt

Industry: Heavy Machinery & Equipment

Travel: 100%

 

Responsibilities

  • Repair and service machinery for complete customer satisfaction
  • Maintain, safely operate, and care for assigned service truck and company owned tools and equipment 
  • Complete assigned work with minimum re-work
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Complete all required paperwork and maintain records/photos/other materials as required, for example, time clocking or collection records, SOC reports, etc.

 

Requirements

  • Trade school completion preferred
  • MUST have extensive knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, diesel engines, etc.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Understanding of safe job practices & regulations related to OSHA, MSHA and company machinery requirements
  • Aptitude for repairing, troubleshooting and servicing equipment in varying outdoor environments with various terrain
  • Complete all DOT requirements, including physical, medical card and safety regulations
