Job Summary:
Corby Energy Services, Inc., (“CES”) is looking for an IT System Administrator to join our team The IT System Administrator will primarily be responsible for helping to distribute and leverage technology in every aspect of our business. If you are passionate about solving computer problems, enjoy helping others adopt technology and take pride in independently solving technical problems this is the role for you.
This role spans all areas of technology including Windows 10/11 client computing, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, disaster recovery, networking, and IT security. To succeed in this role, you will require strong troubleshooting skills, an analytical mindset, and enjoy learning new technologies to ensure the department is continually delivering value to the organization.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
· Interact with business users to resolve technology problems and meet technology needs.
· Provide in-person and remote support across all technologies and supported platforms.
· Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets.
· Assist with technology integrations.
· Support maintenance and outage issues which require occasional after-hours or weekend work.
· All other duties as assigned by Manager.
Requirements:
· 2-5 years of related experience.
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· MCP and other Microsoft certifications or CompTIA A+/Net+ certifications preferred.
· Strong interpersonal skills, including a professional and pleasant demeanor.
· Demonstrate written and oral communication skills.
· Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel to various office sites and project sites as needed (primarily in southeast Michigan).
· Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 Technologies (Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune/Endpoint Management, Exchange, and Microsoft Office products)
· Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Automate
· Demonstrated experience with Windows 10 client computing
· Demonstrated experience with PowerShell and scripting
· Experience administering backup solutions familiarity with Veeam and Azure backup solutions a plus
· Knowledge of network infrastructure including, firewalls and routing, SD-WAN, switches, wireless access point, TCP/IP Networking, VLANs
· Experience using a helpdesk ticketing system and effectively maintaining ticket notes and statuses (Jira experience a plus)
Compensation and Benefits:
· Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
