Position Overview: As a Paragon Legacy Support specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our Paragon legacy systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of these systems, enabling our clients to continue leveraging their investment in legacy technology while transitioning to newer solutions seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support: Provide expert-level technical support for Paragon legacy systems, including troubleshooting issues, diagnosing problems, and implementing solutions to ensure uninterrupted operation.

Maintenance and Upgrades: Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patch installations, and system enhancements, to keep Paragon legacy systems secure, efficient, and compatible with evolving technologies.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure consistency in support efforts.

Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams, system administrators, and other stakeholders to coordinate efforts related to Paragon legacy systems, including implementing customizations, integrating with other platforms, and migrating data as needed.

Training and Knowledge Transfer: Provide training and knowledge transfer sessions to internal staff and clients on Paragon legacy systems, best practices, and recommended approaches for optimizing performance and minimizing downtime.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance and usage of Paragon legacy systems, identify potential issues or areas for improvement, and proactively implement measures to optimize performance and enhance user experience.

Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, as well as adherence to security protocols and best practices, to safeguard sensitive data and protect Paragon legacy systems from potential threats or vulnerabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in providing technical support for legacy systems, particularly Paragon systems.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare information systems, including Electronic Health Records (EHR) and related technologies.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
