PrideStaff Financial is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for our healthcare client.  This position comes with room for growth and an employee-centric culture  

  • Direct Hire
  • Pay: $23-25/hour
  • Schedule:   Mostly remote but with some occasional days in the office. Candidate must live in Dallas or within commuting distance.

 

Duties:

  • Ensure that vendor statements are accurate and reconciled.
  • Vendor maintenance and set up
  • Working closely with vendors on maintaining current accounts and responding to vendor inquiries promptly.
  • Managed the W9 process
  • 1099 reporting
  • Utilize Excel spreadsheets to compile reports for vendors and leadership
  • Oversee unclaimed property
  • Various ad hoc AP duties

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
  • Min. 3 years in an Accounts Payable role (to include vendor maintenance and 1099s)
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Experience with Great Plains/MS Dynamics software a plus.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to work/interact with all levels within the organization, including management and executive levels.
