We are currently seeking Construction Fleet Manager for our Anderson, CA location.

$100-$120K a year

Duties:

As a Shop Manager, you are responsible for directing and leading the SPM diesel shop, while also performing required duties as a hands-on mechanic as well. This position supervises up to 4 Diesel mechanics. Provides knowledge, experience, technical expertise to shop mechanics.

Requirements

  • 10 years experience in Diesel truck maintenance required
  • Previous leadership experience in a shop required, preferably min of 3-5 years
  • 40 hour work week that can be expanded up to 50 plus during the busy work season which can include weekends.
  • Good experience with computer systems for maintenance shop work processes, costs, inventory and documentation requirements as well as mechanical diagnostics.
  • CDL A strongly preferred, or willingness to get a Class A CDL required
  • High school diploma or GED preferred required.
  • A valid/active driver’s license without restrictions is mandatory.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for long periods of time .
  • Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to solve problems.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • A close eye for details.
  • We do require a valid California Drivers License with a good driving record as some driving of Company vehicles(Non DOT) will be required.
  • Previous experience with various mechanical systems, Pneumatic, Electrical, Hydraulic and small gas engines.
