Responsibilities:

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executive
  • Assist with recruiting and hiring efforts, updating Monday.com database
  • Oversee and coordinate in-person, New Hire orientation and onboarding, including supporting online training courses
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from employees and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR or manager contact
  • Translate employee documents from English to Spanish, both written and as a translator in meetings
  • Process documentation and maintain personnel records, in compliance with HR regulations, including creating reports from dictated notes and verbal incident reports and writeups of periodic reviews, compiling and updating employee records (hard and soft copies) as needed
  • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc.) and take minutes
  • Be able to answer employee questions about payroll and benefits and deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
  • Enforce company policies, rules, and regulations
  • Communicate all relevant information to managers, employees, and job applicants

​Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English
  • Degree or Certification in Human Resources or related field
  • Previous, proven experience in Human Resources as an HR assistant, staff assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position
  • Basic knowledge of labor and employment laws, including OSHA, ADA, DMLA, EEO, etc.
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves position
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to problem solve and think independently
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Ability to handle confidential data with a high level of professionalism
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
