Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking a shipping/receiving clerk for a local business The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills and experience in managing shipping and receiving operations. The role involves coordinating the flow of goods, maintaining accurate records, and using various software systems to ensure efficient and accurate processing of shipments.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including labeling, packaging, and documentation.
  • Schedule and coordinate shipping with carriers and third-party logistics providers.
  • Generate shipping reports and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Verify and reconcile received goods against purchase orders and shipping documents.
  • Update inventory systems and manage stock levels accordingly.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track and record shipments and receipts.
  • Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy, including updating spreadsheets and databases.
  • Generate and analyze reports related to shipping, receiving, and inventory.
  • Communicate with internal teams and external partners regarding shipment status, delays, and discrepancies.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to shipping and receiving promptly.

  • Ensure all shipping and receiving activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Shipping/Receiving Clerk or in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience with inventory management and logistics systems.

Shift: 1st 8am-5pm M-F

Pay: $19.00
