Practice is a wellness-focused concierge primary care practice that focuses on VIP care for patients. The practice is very small compared to traditional practices. The ideal candidate must be positive, mature, personable, well-spoken, and presentable. They must be able to relate well to the patients and the patients’ families. Candidates must be able to deliver an unprecedented level of customer service while instilling confidence and peace of mind in the patients. Finally, they are expected to learn about all aspects of the MDVIP program and prepared to discuss its benefits with patients.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • ● Interview patients and document basic medical history
  • ● Organize and schedule appointments
  • ● Update and file medical records and insurance reports via EMR
  • ● Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services
  • ● Check with patients and type up patients' charts via EMR
  • ● Assist during medical examinations
  • ● Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
  • ● Handle patient payments
  • ● Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
  • ● Perform phlebotomy procedures
  • ● Administer vaccines and injections
  • Skills
  • ● Proven working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary
  • ● Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
  • ● Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • ● Social perceptiveness and service-oriented
  • ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ● Strong organizational and planning skills
  • ● Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
  • ● Degree in LPN
  • ● Experience with lab draws, procedures and phlebotomy
