Job DescriptionJob Description

Job Summary: Brown and Crouppen is seeking a Litigation Attorney for its Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Practice. The Litigation Attorney will work with an accomplished litigator handling complex serious personal injury cases. This is a hybrid position with occasional travel required. Open to candidates in any state excluding CA, CO, CT, MD, NY, WA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take and defend depositions
  • Draft discoveries, pleadings, and motions
  • Monitor case progress
  • Prepare and participate in jury trials
  • Continuously communicate with clients, insurance adjusters and opposing counsel
  • Court appearances as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years’ experience handling personal injury cases
  • Law degree from a fully accredited law school
  • An active member in good standing with the State Bar Association
  • Illinois and Missouri license required
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Courtroom motion practice experience preferred
