Job DescriptionJob Description

Adams & Martin Group is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 3-6 years of experience to join a Downtown St. Louis law firm. As part of this national trial team, you will have hands-on involvement in all phases of litigation, including court appearances, while working alongside experienced attorneys in toxic tort and civil litigation cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of litigated claims, developing tailored defense strategies for trial
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and pretrial motions
  • Analyze discovery, medical records, and expert defense strategies
  • Research legal issues and conduct investigations into people, businesses, and worksites
  • Draft legal documents such as briefs, memos, and client reports

Qualifications

  • Active bar license in good standing in Missouri and Illinois (both required)
  • 3-6 years of defense litigation experience (toxic tort experience is a plus)
  • Extensive deposition experience
  • Strong academic background
  • Exceptional writing, analytical, and communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines
  • Client-focused mindset with a proactive, challenge-driven attitude
  • Self-starter capable of handling multiple projects while maintaining flexibility within a collaborative team environment
