Job Opportunity: Litigation Attorney

We are seeking a seasoned Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for managing your caseload, supporting others in our team, and serving our clients with the highest level of legal service.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of litigation matters from inception through resolution.
  • Handle a variety of real estate and property litigation matters.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and manage discovery.
  • Represent clients in court, before government agencies, or in private legal matters.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.
  • Negotiate settlements for legal disputes.
  • Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
  • Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
  • Collaborate with our team to devise effective litigation strategies.
  • Maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest developments in law and in the legal industry.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be barred in the state.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of cases.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft applications, legal research software, and case management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and deliver client-focused solutions.
  • Strong track record of court appearances, depositions, and mediations.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing deadlines.
  • Writing sample and law transcript required.
