Join Our Team as a High School Computer Teacher
Are you passionate about educating the next generation of tech-savvy leaders? Do you have a knack for making complex concepts easy to understand? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you at St. Francis Indian School AKA Sicangu Oyate Ho Inc. in St. Francis, SD. We are currently seeking a talented High School Computer Teacher to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
As a High School Computer Teacher at St. Francis Indian School, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing engaging computer science curriculum for high school students
- Creating hands-on projects that allow students to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios
- Providing instruction on coding languages, software applications, and computer hardware
- Assessing student progress and adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs
- Collaborating with faculty and staff to integrate technology into other subject areas
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the High School Computer Teacher position will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field
- Previous teaching experience at the high school level
- Strong knowledge of computer programming languages and software development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for inspiring students to pursue careers in technology
