Job DescriptionJob Description

The Engineering Project Manager is the internal owner of the Project and the voice of WET to the external Client, Client Consultants, Contractors, and WET’s Consultants. The Engineering Project Manager collaborates with the functional department leaders to ensure the Project Vision is realized within the scope, schedule, and budget established for the Project, subject to alteration approved only by Executive Management.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead the Product Engineering team to realize the Project Vision (Concept and Story) to successful completion of the Project.
  • Ensure that the Scope of Services is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Identify scope increase from the contract terms and conditions early and initiate the Change Order or Variation Order.
  • Manage scope definition, deliverables, and schedule management.
  • Collaborate with functional department leaders in creating mission planning and executing the Project.
  • Monitor, track, and analyze project schedules and take appropriate actions to deliver on the Project Vision.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
  • Excellent in creating a Project Schedule then tracking and adjusting as the Project unfolds.
  • Excellent ability to build successful relationships—both within the company and externally.
  • Delivered desire to always be “the best of the best.”
  • Possess clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to present professionally and persuasively to high-level executives.
  • Deliver strong customer service with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Five years of demonstrated Engineering Project Management experience, managing Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Field (Construction, Installation, and Field Commissioning) experience in a related industry.
  • Be a self-starter with a proactive mindset including the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Curious and exploration-based mind.
  • Have a comfort with technology.
