What You Will Do :
This position supports establishing a new program from the ground up. The seasoned program manager oversees up to three vendors that will install Smart Sensors and other sensors in Government buildings nationwide. The position requires coordinating across multiple groups and reporting progress to executive management.
Job Responsibilities:
Project Management and Leadership
Integrated Project Team (IPT) Leadership
Assemble and lead Integrated Project Teams (IPT).
Conduct kick-off meetings to refine requirements, set project timelines and milestones, formulate budgets, allocate resources, and coordinate across stakeholders.
Ensure agile project delivery and implementation.
Smart Sensor Project Management
Manage the implementation of regional Smart Sensor projects in coordination with regional Government POCs.
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Prioritize and escalate issues as needed.
Stakeholder Communication
Brief senior-level management on project status.
Communicate complex technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
Manage customer relationships and expectations, including scope, deliverables, schedules, and blockers.
IT and Building Systems Integration
Compliance and Security
Follow established federal and GSA IT security policies.
Ensure compliance with regional and national IT standards.
Coordinate Authority to Operate (ATO) activities with IT Security and stakeholders.
Network and Systems Integration
Integrate building systems (BMC, HVAC, lighting, etc.) onto GSA network.
Coordinate IP address provisioning and ensure compliance with naming standards.
Follow the existing processes to coordinate with GSA IT and other groups for new network circuits or equipment.
Technical Expertise and Solution Implementation
Technical Point of Contact
Serve as a technical point of contact for vendors and project managers.
Execute optimal IT solutions and implementations.
Review hardware specifications for compatibility with GAS IT cybersecurity guidelines.
Training and Technology Dissemination
Provide training on building systems specifications.
Disseminate technology-related information and new product details.
Collaborate with technical staff on program delivery and training.
Change Management and Documentation
Change Management
Follow change management procedures.
Update documentation (eg: network diagrams, inventory) promptly.
Establish/refine processes, gain stakeholder buy-in, and implement efficiency.
Create and track ongoing projects
Create dashboards to report and track project
Streamline Smart Sensor deployment processes across GSA Regions.
Requirements Gathering and Project Facilitation

Facilitate high-level requirements-gathering sessions.
General Responsibilities
Manage multiple projects and integrated efforts simultaneously.
Prioritize work and escalate issues when necessary.
Conduct working sessions with business line personnel and technical stakeholders.
Additional Considerations
The position is 100% remote.
Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ensure projects meet national targets for energy reduction and tenant requirements.
What You Will Need :
Undergraduate degree or 4 additional years of general IT experience in areas such as business analysis, systems analysis, software development, quality assurance, and/or project management.
5 years of general IT experience in areas such as business analysis, systems analysis, software development, quality assurance, and/or project management.
Familiarity with fundamentals of IT networking: domain name convention, IP address, subnet, etc.
Experience with strong project management
What Would Be Nice To Have :
Experience with IoT projects such as Smart Sensor applications and technologies
Facility Management
Federal government experience
PMP, Agile, or other relevant certification and experience preferred, e.g., Scrum Master
