 We are seeking a Behavior Specialist to join our team You will provide ABA behavioral services in group or individual settings for a school setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues and autistic children
  • Offer assistance to teachers and aids with students under your case
  • Provide prevention-oriented therapy
  • Implement and review treatment plans
  • Collaborate with additional treatment team members.
  • Report weekly to your supervisor (BCBA)
  • Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields
  • A bachelors in related fields
  • RBT (preferred)
  • BCaBA (prefered)
  • Familiarity with the following strategies:

    1. Preferential seating

    2. Small group instructions

    3. Parent conferencing

    4. Reward system

    5. Peer matching

    6. Frequent breaks

    7. Positive verbal reinforcement

Our team of highly experienced staff includes but is not limited to BCBA-D (Board Certified Behavioral Analyst Doctorial), BCBA (Board Certified Behavioral Analyst), BCaBA (Board Certified associate Behavioral analyst), RBT's (Registered Behavioral Technician) and BT's (Behavioral Technician).
