Responsibilities:

  • Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues
  • Offer assistance to individuals with issues in interpersonal violence and trauma
  • Provide prevention-oriented therapy
  • Implement and review treatment plans
  • Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies
  • Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields
  • Familiarity with tenets of forensic counseling
  • Curiousity and willingness to learn and enhance therapeutic skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Willingness to work in a close-knit team
  • Interest in ongoing training and professional development
