Key Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Program with a valid PT license.
- At least 1 year of experience in physical therapy within a home care or medical environment.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Understanding of state and federal healthcare regulations.
- Strong clinical judgment, interpersonal skills, and compassion.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination.
Your Responsibilities as a Physical Therapist:
- Provide Care: Deliver physical therapy services in various settings, assisting patients in regaining mobility and strength.
- Collaborate with Team: Work alongside physicians, nurses, CNAs, OTs, and SLPs to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Support Diagnostics: Aid physicians in assessing patient function and equipment needs.
- Monitor Progress: Conduct evaluations, document patient progress, and adjust therapy services as necessary.
- Guide Exercises: Instruct patients through therapeutic exercises and hands-on treatment.
- Educate Patients: Inform patients and their families about treatment goals, exercises, and self-care strategies.
