Partnership Staffing is hiring a Designer/Drafter to joing our team.

Job Duties include:

  • Collecting Structural materials required for designs
  • Calculating dimensions, weight limitations, and measurements for designs
  • Drafting designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Creating diagrams and layouts to illustrate the workflow of designs
  • Collaborating with the design team to review drawings and designs
  • Meeting with architects, designers, and engineers to discuss design ideas
  • Developing product designs from scratch
  • Presenting rough design drafts for client approval
  • Produce sheet-metal and welded structure designs.
  • Use Microsoft Office programs for other support activities.
  • Use SolidWorks and its PDM accessory to create and edit solid models and assembly drawings for electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Design experience with sheet metal and aluminum structures
  • Can provide production support with bill-of-material creation, design problem resolution and use our ECN process.
