We have nearly vertical manufacturing in our 80,000 square foot facility and take pride in making every pipe, silencer, header, and muffler in Rancho Dominguez.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a key individual to add to our manufacturing team who can bring experience, organization, thoroughness, and teamwork to our organization. FMF Racing is under the classification of metal fabrication, and we employ the following processes and operations:

● Machining ●Metal Finishing ●Stamping/Draw Presses ●Tube Mill ●Tube Bending

●Robotic Welding ●Tig Welding ● Mig Welding ● Gas Welding

The Production Planner will work directly under our Production Manager to schedule work orders to and between work centers in the manufacturing of our exhaust products.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Generate and distribute work orders to the shop floor.

· Allocation of parts/materials to production work centers.

· Review work in process and update production schedule to reflect status.

· Daily review of production schedule to assess capacity, identify delays and revise or correct based on available labor and resources.

· Maintain communication with Purchasing on the availability of required resources.

· Recognize the interrelatedness, and identify deficiencies, with resource capacity, material flow and production activity.

· Identify and implement Engineering change orders, material substitutions and alternate processing capabilities.

· Create and prepare measurable analytics for reporting.

· Develop experience to monitor quality control and manufacturing efficiencies to proactively engage in improving.

Required Qualifications:

· High School degree or GED.

· Minimum 1 years’ experience within a Manufacturing environment.

· Minimum 1 years’ experience in production planning.

· Minimum 1 years’ experience utilizing ERP software.

· Basic knowledge of MS Office – primarily Word and Excel.

· Strong analytic skills.

· Able to work under pressure and comfortable in a fast-paced work setting.

· Willingness to learn and develop new competencies.

· Communication skills with various levels of staffing with professional and amicable demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Associates or Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing.

· Bilingual – English and Spanish

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift, 6am-2:30pm (overtime as needed 2:30-4:30pm)
  • Monday to Friday
