Sterile Processing Technician

Our client in Middlesex County NJ is seeking an Aseptic Technician to join their team.
Location: Edison, NJ
Shift: 7am - 3pm (Tues - Sat) OR 3pm – 11pm (Mon – Fri) OR 11pm – 7am (Mon – Fri)
Pay: $22-$24 per hour
Type: Contract
Responsibilities
- Aseptically process cells and tissues in a regulated medical device environment.
- Maintain ISO certified cleanroom and adhere to standard operating procedures.
- Gain technical knowledge through training and hands-on experience.
- Prepare safe, quality tissue and maintain aseptic techniques.
- Assist in semiannual and quarterly shutdown activities.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols.
- Complete documentation accurately and legibly.
- Perform quality inspections and ensure proper waste disposal.
- Prepare tissue samples for testing and maintains traceability.
- Transfer tissue to storage and prepare chemicals as needed.
- Clean and sanitize cleanroom and equipment regularly.
- Participate in training programs for professional development.
- Collaborate with support departments as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- Accurately adds, subtracts, measures, and calculates ratios for liquids and powders
