Position Overview:
As an Industrial Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and improvement of our manufacturing plant. You will work closely with production teams to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial processes, equipment maintenance, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant operations.
- Monitor plant performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Manage maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs with maintenance technicians.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
- Lead projects to upgrade machinery, improve processes, or enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and management.
- Train and mentor PM staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in either Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience (2 years) in an industrial plant setting, preferably in food industry.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.
- Proficiency in project management and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
