How You Can Join US

We are looking for self-motivated individuals to join our Team immediately as Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) System Administrators. VDI System Administrators specialize in virtual infrastructures, encompassing networking, systems, and zero trust environments, while providing engineering support for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure services. Responsibilities include provisioning Virtual Apps and Desktops, managing Thin Client endpoint devices, and troubleshooting Windows-based virtual desktop issues. The ideal candidate will excel in remote collaboration, have familiarity with Nutanix AOS and Citrix CVAD architecture, and possess experience in profile disk management services and scripting languages.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support design, configuration, and maintenance of global virtual desktop environment.
  • Experienced in system design, integration, identity management, and process automation.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues organization-wide.
  • Ensure desktop optimization for platform interoperability, acting as a liaison for VDI technologies.
  • Provide endpoint support and troubleshoot VDI-related tasks.
  • Document operational integration of new technologies.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of VDI administration and engineering.
  • Operate in complex production environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Apply technical expertise and make recommendations on solutions.


Qualifications/Experience:

  • Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop, VMware administration, and VMware Horizon VDI.
  • Proficiency in BIG-IP F5 application delivery controller and Citrix Netscalers.
  • Engineering support for legacy and current versions of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure services.
  • Knowledge of Virtual Apps and Desktops provisioning and Gateway/Secure Access Appliances.
  • Management of Thin Client endpoint devices from Dell, HP, and 10Zig.
  • Expertise in virtual disk profile management services such as Liquidware, FsLogix, Citrix PM, and VMware DEM.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving Windows-based virtual desktop problems.
  • Ability to work and collaborate remotely with management and team members.
  • Experience with Nutanix AOS, Nutanix AHV, Nutanix Files, and Prism Central.
  • Familiarity with Citrix Virtual Application and Desktop (CVAD) architecture.
  • Utilization of profile disk management services like Microsoft FSLogix.
  • Utilization of Liquidware Stratusphere UX for identifying and resolving desktop performance issues.
  • Support and address customer training objectives.
  • Experience with DHCP, DNS, Active Directory/Group Policies.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.


Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of related experience, or Associate's Degree with 8 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experience+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer with a focus on virtualization.


Certification(s):

  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract
  • Required Security Environment Certification: CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent
  • Require One of the following Certification
    • VMware Certified Professional - Desktop Management 2023 (VCP-DTM 2023)
    • Citrix Certified Professional in Virtualization (1Y0-204)
    • Nutanix Certified Professional - Multicloud Infrastructure (NCP-MCI)
    • Microsoft Exam AZ-140: Configuring and Operating Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop
    • Microsoft Exam SC-300: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator:
    • EX200 Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)


Location:

  • 100% on customer site (Fort Eisenhower, Augusta, GA)


Security Clearance:

  • TS/SCI required
  • Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contract
